Stamicarbon is featured on the EU Innovation Radar
Stamicarbon has been identified as the “Key Innovator” in the PROMETEO project by the EU Innovation Radar. PROMETEO is a European Horizon 2020 project funded by the European Commission aimed to contribute to the decarbonization of the energy, chemical and nitrogen fertilizer sectors by developing a modular prototype system for the production of hydrogen from solar power based on high-temperature Solid Oxide Electrolysis and innovative storage solutions.
As part of the PROMETEO consortium, Stamicarbon participates in the project’s R&D activities to apply green hydrogen to develop more sustainable fertilizer technologies for producing green ammonia and green nitrogen-based fertilizers. Participation in this project represents one of the critical targets for Stamicarbon, which is improving the sustainability of fertilizer production.
A big step towards carbon-free fertilizers is the introduction of NX Stami Green Ammonia™, modular technology for producing ammonia from renewable energy resources.
