The Procurement Department of Stamicarbon is pursuing strategic objectives of coordinating Stamicarbon’s supply chain at 360 degrees. For this reason, it has been decided to establish the function of the Supplier Quality Engineer, whose main task is to make sure that Stamicarbon’s suppliers base is kept of an adequate quality to meet and exceed Stamicarbon’s high standards.

The Project Manager Licensing is responsible for defining and executing project plans for projects concerning licensing and sales of proprietary equipment.

Operations Launch is organized within the Business Line Licensing, within the Stamicarbon Organization. The department is working in a project environment, being responsible for managing all Grass Root projects in the field of urea, nitric acid, ammonia and derivative Technologies while at the same time delivering all relevant technological and technical knowledge and resources to define, sell, and execute the projects.

For our Product Development Management Department we are looking for an Innovation Control Engineer as a part time position of 0.5 FTE.

You are independent and self-propelling strong communicator liaising with the different stakeholders in Innovation, Finance and Operations and have the drive to make us the best in class. The position holder works in an international environment, highly demanding and challenging, with main focus on Incremental Innovation and has to also liaise strongly with both our different sections of Innovation, Finance and Operations to make sure accurate project information can be timely provided both internally and externally.

As a management assistant you will be part of a team of assistants who work closely together in a challenging and dynamic, international environment. Each assistant has specific Stamicarbon Departments to support in terms of administrating (e.g. meeting minutes, purchasing tasks), planning and organizing travel and hotel accommodations and maintaining agenda’s.

In the position of Proposal Manager you support the overall process by facilitating uniform, efficient proposals and other key elements of the proposal process, such as internal mandates, purchase orders, document management, contract and contract assessment development and completion.

In this role, you are the key team player to apply mechanical knowledge to process design packages and other related services, design of High-Pressure equipment, guidance and control in piping MTOs, experience with rotating equipment, sales support and delivering technical support in the design and construction phase of revamping urea plants.

You will ensure that Stamicarbon’s technical & scientific computing (TSC) software and tools are up-to-date, fit-for-purpose and fully functional. Beside that you have to implement new and updated models in our flow sheeting, process simulation and design tools in order to accelerate the new process designs to its next stage.

In the position of Proposal Manager, you support the overall process by facilitating uniform, efficient proposals and other key elements of the proposal process, such as internal mandates, purchase orders, document management, contract and contract assessment development and completion.

In this role you need to understand the process, chemical components and complex control system settings to be simulated. This involves analyzing the customer’s requirements and cooperating with other engineering areas of the company to effectively replicate the process in our simulation environment.

The Contract Manager is responsible for assisting the Project Manager during the execution of projects concerning licensing and selling of proprietary equipment of any size/complexity, in full compliance with the contractual requirements following Group and Company procedures and work processes.

In this role you define and execute project plans for smaller projects concerning reselling equipment and on-site services and ensure that project objectives and milestones are met, within agreed budget and timing and according to agreed QHSE standards. You will manage many small projects with relatively short delivery times, often with only a couple of resources.

Operations Evolve is organized within the Business Line Licensing, within the Stamicarbon Organization. The department is working in a project environment being responsible for managing all Evolve (revamp) projects, while at the same time delivering all relevant technological and technical knowledge and resources to define, sell, and execute the projects.

Working in a project environment being responsible for applying HSE competences in all relevant phases of the process design projects within all Stamicarbon business lines .

In this role you perform studies and prepare Process Design Packages (PDPs) and related services for existing urea plants or adjacent technologies or for the revamping or debottlenecking of existing plants. You support the commercial licensing process by preparing technical proposals and you participate in the commissioning of revamped plants. Therefore, you work closely with our colleagues of the Licensing Sales & Services Department and with several members of multidisciplinary teams in different phased projects. You also generate new technology, optimize and improve work practices and existing designs with regard to the different production processes.

To guarantee the quality and integrity of the process designs and to improve the efficiency of our engineering process, you ensure that adequate tools (e.g. design manuals/guidelines and software tools) are available. Furthermore, you review the work of engineering contractors during the design and construction phase.

As a seasoned and well-experienced Process Engineer you have a significant role in supporting, educating and coaching our (junior) Process Engineers.

The Business Development Manager Digital Products and Services (BDM-DPS) at Stamicarbon will focus on tools to complement the sales and license of our new and existing plant technologies, working in support of and cooperation with Licensing / Sales Managers. You are a member of the Launch Sales Team. You will have a coordination and prospects reporting role across Launch, Evolve and Advance departments. As well as a Stamicarbon-wide portfolio monitoring and reporting responsibility. You will work in a matrix-fashion with both the Software and Digital Projects parts of Stami Digital, as well as all Sales Managers / Licensing Managers across the company to ensure good sales processes, standardization, training and support.

In this role you are the key team player to manage proposal processes and prepare compliant, professionally produced Internal Mandates for the commercial responsible. Therefore, you align with the Technology and Marketing Department on preparation of pertaining technical proposals and prioritization of prospects. As linking pin, you inform, activate and stimulate all relevant stakeholders for giving their input to the proposal delivery process and create an overview of prospects. You also give support to the Sales account manager in negotiation and communication processes with external parties.

The Inspections & Materials Engineering Department is organized within the Business line Advance. This department is working in a project or plant environment being responsible for applying the mechanical knowledge and experience in all relevant steps of the UREA Licensing process and after Sales Services.
