The NX STAMI™ Digital Process Monitor has aced its annual penetration test, achieving the strongest security rating with the lowest possible risk profile.

To reinforce our commitment to high-quality, innovative solutions, we are introducing Stamicarbon Equipment (SEQ), positioning us as the trusted supplier for the urea, ammonia, and nitrates industries.

Three finalists presented their innovative ideas at the Brightlands Health Campus in Maastricht, with Giulia Bellinetti taking home the award and a cash prize of EUR 35,000.

Stamicarbon delivers its first NX Stami™ Green Ammonia converter for the EU-funded INITIATE project. The converter will produce up to 5 MTPD of ammonia from syngas recovered from off-gases generated by a steel mill and is the core equipment for the demo plant in Luleå, Sweden. 

NX Stami Digital™ Process Monitor software successfully passed penetration testing (or pen testing) conducted by an external party. The test will help Stamicarbon’s software team keep their security policies up-to-date, so they can continue designing software solutions with best security practices in mind.

Stamicarbon will replace a high-pressure stripper in the urea plant of Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilizers Limited, the largest chemical fertilizer manufacturer in the state of Karnataka, India. The new vessel will be built according to Stamicarbon’s latest design, featuring proprietary materials. 

The winner of last year’s Ideas-to-Reality competition, the Student Transition Enhancement Project, is turning their idea into reality by supporting the educational transition of schoolchildren in Yobe State, northeastern Nigeria.

Stamicarbon teamed up with sister companies Kinetics Technology, NextChem Tech and Tecnimont to implement state-of-the-art digital solutions for hydrogen production and sulfur recovery units. The collaboration included the delivery of two Technology Training Simulators, which will be used not only for operator training but also for testing and tuning the Digital Process Monitor.
